Until recently, Michael Tobin as CEO led TelecityGroup plc, a leading FTSE250 Technology company. Michael has over 30 years’ experience in senior roles across the telecommunication and technology sector. He steered Telecity Group plc from a £6m market cap in 2002 to being a top performer in the FTSE250 and transformed the business into a valuation of over £1.5Bn. In 2012 the company was recognised as Britain’s Most Admired Tech Company.
Michael’s business and thought leadership have been widely recognised. ‘Business Person of the Year’ and ‘Outstanding Contribution to the Industry’ are just two of the many accolades that Michael has been awarded with whilst working in the industry, and in 2014 he was honoured in the Queens New Years Honours List with an OBE for Services to the Digital Economy. He has also just launched his first book, ‘Forget Strategy, Get Results’.
